1. Aria

Aria (Lucy Hale) could be identified as A.D on the “Pretty Little Liars” series finale. Freeform

For years, fans speculated that little Aria (Lucy Hale) could be “A” and had a secret villainous side. While those theories seemed to lack much evidence in the past, the final episodes of the series have been showing a different side of her, and it looks like the pint-sized Liar is beginning to unravel in more ways than one. Not only did Aria join forces with A.D. and carry out special tasks, but in episode 19, she began to talk to Archer Dunhill’s (Huw Collins) dead body as if it were still alive. Could this Liar have a split personality that has been kept under wraps, or is she just another innocent victim succumbing to stress?

2. Melissa

When you think about it, Melissa (Torrey DeVitto) has what it takes to be A.D., not to mention plenty of motive. Melissa has never been a fan of Alison (Sasha Pieterse), and is more than capable of burying a body. She buried Bethany Young thinking it was her enemy. Also, Melissa claims she was trying to protect Spencer (Troian Bellisario) who she believed killed Alison after she saw the two fighting earlier that night, but she could be lying. As teens, Alison had the tendency to flirt with Melissa’s boyfriend Ian (Ryan Merriman) which she was not thrilled with. Could she have held on to that grudge all the way into adulthood? Is should also be noted that Melissa is ridiculously smart. The Hastings are known for their intelligence, manipulation and discretion, so it wouldn’t be a surprise if she was doing something that came naturally to her.

3. Wren

For seasons, fans have been convinced that Wren (Julian Morrison) is “A.” Wren has always been a mysterious yet shady character throughout the series. Not only was he engaged to Melissa but he has hooked up with Spencer, hit on Hanna (Ashley Benson) and came to work at the Radley Sanitarium just as Mona (Janel Parrish) was admitted. Let’s not forget that he was seen coloring in a drawing of a woman in a red coat as he spoke to someone standing nearby. “Just goes to show, you can’t trust anyone,” he stated. He is also a doctor, which means he could have assisted in the procedure that placed Emily’s (Shay Mitchell) fertilized eggs into Alison. Has Wren been pulling the strings all along?

4. Ezra

As much as Ezria has been a beloved couple, Ezra (Ian Harding) has always been a suspicious character, and his history with the Liars dates all the way back to when the girls were in high school, and before Alison went missing. Not only did Ezra date Alison a year before getting close to Aria, but he never told her about the previous relationship. The former high school teacher also had a very advanced lair in Ravenswood, which revealed his impressive surveillance skills, something A.D. is also gifted with. Although Ezra claimed it was because he was writing a book about the Liars, it seemed suspicious that a grown man would put a group of teenage girls on surveillance. There is also the coincidences when Ezra just happens to show up at the right moment, most recently to stop Aria from walking into the police station when she had Archer Dunhill’s body in her car. There is also the fact that Ezra has never truly faced “A’s” wrath. “A’s” presence has ended Haleb on more than one occasion and has put Toby (Keegan Allen) in the hospital. Why hasn’t “A” chosen Ezra as a victim?

5. Jenna

Just because Jenna (Tammin Sursok) says she’s blind doesn’t mean she’s telling the truth. She hasn’t been a fan of the Liars since day one, and let’s not forget she tried to kill them in the first half of Season 7. Although she walks around with sunglasses and a walking stick, it wouldn’t be the first time Jenna lied about being able to see. In the promo for the series finale, a Rosewood student can be seen waving their hand in Jenna’s face and she grabs it,shocking the student and fueling theories that she could always see. Has she been pretending to be in the dark all this time just so the Liars wouldn’t suspect she was running the show?

6. Spencer’s Possible Twin

There have been theories going around that Spencer (Troian Bellisario) is a twin, seeing as twins run in the Drake family. Although Spencer was raised by the Hastings, her birth was only seen by the doctors at the hospital, which means Mary (Andrea Parker) could have given birth to another child without anyone knowing. While this theory is a stretch, it is important to note that in the “Pretty Little Liars” books, it turned out that one of the Liars’ twins was “A.” Although the show doesn’t follow every detail of the books, the writers of the series could surprise viewers with a curve ball.

The “Pretty Little Liars” Season 7 series finale will air on Tuesday at 8 p.m. EDT on Freeform.
