Prince Andrew was previously accused of sleeping with a 17-year-old girl. The dad of two denied the allegations through his spokesperson.

Years ago, Prince Andrew was close friends with Jeffrey Epstein. The latter was convicted of soliciting an underage girl for prostitution in 2008. Shortly after, it was reported that the Duke of York cut all ties with Epstein in 2011. However, his friendship with the convicted sex offender still drew criticism.

Prince Andrew’s name was never mentioned during Epstein’s court proceedings. However, he was often referred to as Epstein’s friend who was frequently spotted at the latter’s mansion in Florida.

And even though Prince Andrew was not directly involved in Epstein’s misconduct, he faced his own troubles after an unnamed woman claimed that Sarah Ferguson’s ex-husband forced her to have sex with him three times.

The woman, known only as Jane Doe 3, said that the sexual encounters between her and Prince Andrew took place in London, New York and the U.S. Virgin Islands. She also said that one of the incidents involved an orgy with several underage girls.

Jane Doe 3 also said that she was just 15 years old when Epstein’s girlfriend, Ghislaine Maxwell, groomed her to be a sex slave. But despite the claims, Prince Andrew was not accused of anything during the proceedings.

The palace also refused to comment on Epstein’s case, but they denied the allegations against Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip’s son.

“This relates to longstanding and ongoing civil proceedings in the United States, to which the Duke of York is not a party. As such, we would not comment on the detail… However, for the avoidance of doubt, any suggestion of impropriety with underage minors is categorically untrue,” the statement read.

After Epstein served his 13 to 18-month sentence, he returned to his mansion in Florida in 2011 and was rumored to have celebrated with Prince Andrew. In an interview with the New York Post, he also made light of his conviction.

“I’m not a sexual predator, I’m an ‘offender.’ It’s the difference between a murderer and a person who steals a bagel,” he said.
