Is Prince Charles faithful to Camilla Parker Bowles?

One netizen took to Quora to ask if the Prince of Wales has been faithful to his second wife. The public knows how he managed to have an affair with Camilla even when he was still married to Princess Diana. So, many are wondering if he is a faithful man now following his history of infidelity to his first wife.

“I do believe that Charles is faithful to Camilla,” Mechelle Blair, who follows royal family news, commented.

“Men of a certain age (65+) and stature (royal) are not going to cheat on their wife because of the fact that they are in their latter stage of life and there would be too many risks and problems involved if they were found to be unfaithful.”

She added that it would be daunting for Prince Charles to deal with another long relationship ending at this stage of his life.

Leslie Martin is also positive that the heir apparent is faithful to his second wife. According to her, Camilla and Prince Charles are soul mates. Also, from the beginning of their romance, they have loved one another.

“Yes even more faithful than he ever was to poor Diana he cares about nobody but only about Camilla,” another netizen commented.

Meanwhile, when Prince Charles was still married to Princess Diana, they had an unhappy marriage. Aside from Camilla, the late Princess of Wales suspected that Prince Charles had an affair with another woman.

According to News.com.au, following the Prince and Princess of Wales separation, Tiggy Legge-Bourke was hired to look after their two sons Prince William and Prince Harry. However, Princess Diana noticed that Tiggy who was supposed to focus on their two boys developed a close relationship with Prince Charles.

Princess Diana’s private secretary, Patrick Jephson, shared how the People’s Princess asked him to reach out to Prince Charles for an explanation of Tiggy’s role in their son’s lives. She also wanted to be involved when it comes to decisions concerning her contact with their sons.

“I do not think she ever got an entirely satisfactory answer, but I doubt if one was possible. It was hard for her to be content with the reality of her reduced influence over her children’s activities.”
