Prince Edward’s sexuality has been questioned throughout the years.

On the online forum site Quora, royal fan Marla Lynn said that there’s a strong possibility that the Earl of Wessex is bisexual. The royal fan went on to claim that Prince Edward was caught making out with another boy when he was much younger.

“The teenage son of the Housekeeper at Highgrove walked into the stables more than once catching Prince Edward and the stable boy making out. When Charles and Diana finally got a divorce, Charles got rid of the Housekeeper and all the servants who worked there during their marriage. He hired a totally new household staff,” the royal fan said.

Lynn said that the members of the royal family learned that Prince Edward was gay very early on so they introduced him to a lot of pretty girls. The dad of three eventually fell in love with Sophie, Countess of Wessex, and he decided to marry her.

Rick Smith, a technician, said that there are rumors Prince Edward and Michael Ball had a special friendship with each other. However, there has not been any proof to confirm that they were ever romantically involved.

“Contemporary newspaper reports called it a ‘touching friendship,’ but there were persistent rumors that are was a full-blown love affair. This is unprovable since neither man has confessed to anything. Edward has angrily denied it,” he said.

Meanwhile, other royal fans don’t think that Prince Edward is gay. Graham Short, a musician, writer, and entertainer, said that he can’t possibly be gay because he is happily married to Sophie.

“I like Prince Edward. I like his enthusiasm and his willingness to carry out Royal duties. I also like his dry sense of humor. If I was Prince Edward, just for a laugh, I’d ‘come out’ publicly. I would then be known as the queen in the Royal Family. I’d do this purely to confuse the American tourists!” he said.
