Prince George will be 6-years-old on July 22, and the royal family is gearing up to make sure he has the time of his life.

In the recent issue of Us Weekly, an insider revealed that George's parents, Kate Middleton and Prince William, are spearheading the planning of the birthday bash.

“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have gone all out to organize a birthday party for George,” the insider said, noting that Kate “has done most of the organizing herself,” but Prince William has chipped in as well.

In fact, the 37-year-old Prince is responsible for one of the party's key entertainment pieces: a magician.

“George loves magic,” the insider shared.

In addition to having a magic show, there will be a bouncy house (likely a castle) to keep the kids entertained. And to keep them from getting hangry, the Duchess of Cambridge secured the help of several caterers to make "pizza, pasta, and sliders." Meanwhile, dessert will include cupcakes, candy and ice cream.

All of the festivities are set to take place at Kensington Palace. George's siblings, Princess Charlotte, 4, and Prince Louis, 1, should be in attendance, along with his closest schoolmates.
