Prince Harry is Britain's most favorite royal, according to a new poll.

Based on YouGov's survey, 77 percent of the people who answered said that they were a fan of the Duke of Sussex, making Prince Harry the nation's favorite royal. Queen Elizabeth II comes at a close second with 74 percent of the participants rooting for her.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge rank third and fourth, respectively. Prince William got 73 percent, while Kate Middleton scored 64 percent.

Prince Philip remains popular among the royal fans following his resignation in 2017. In fact, the Duke of Edinburgh made it to the fifth spot.

On the other hand, Prince Harry's wife, Meghan Markle garnered over 50 percent in the poll, placing her at the sixth spot. Prince Charles made it to the seventh place. His wife, Camilla Parker Bowles, is on the 10th spot.

Princess Anne and Zara Phillips rank eighth and ninth, respectively. Sophie, Countess of Wessex, Prince Edward, Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie and Prince Andrew also made it on the list.

The poll showed that the Prince of Wales' sons, Prince William and Prince Harry, are more well-liked than him. But he may be doing something about that. Just recently, body language expert Judi James said that the future king is "upping his game" because the Duke of Cambridge and the Duke of Sussex have stolen most of the attention of the public.

"Charles has shown throughout his life how competitive he can be, and with both William and Kate and Harry and Meghan currently robbing him of the royal limelight to the point where he is increasingly overlooked as the next heir to the throne he does appear to have moved into top gear now," James explained.

The expert added that Prince Charles is doing this because he wanted to "to regain the lost ground by boosting his own profile with some very timely image PR to remind us how easily he will fit into the role of king."

Prince Charles is reportedly taking over the throne soon. According to Nicholas Bieber of Daily Star, there will be a big changeover in 2021. "And just this week major preparations were already being ramped up in the run-up to the big takeover on April 21, 2021," Bieber wrote.
