Prince Harry Says Charles Is A Workaholic, Advised Dad To 'Slow Down'

Prince Harry thinks that his dad Prince Charles is a workaholic and should take a break every now and then.

In BBC's new documentary "Prince, Son and Heir: Charles at 70," the Duke of Sussex shared his thoughts about the future king. Prince Harry said that his father works really hard and advised him to "slow down" a bit.

"This is a man who has dinner ridiculously late at night, and then goes to his desk later that night and will fall asleep on his notes to the point where he'll wake up with a piece of paper stuck to his face," Prince Harry said (via Town & Country). "The man never stops. When we were kids, there were bags and bags and bags of work that the office just sent to him. We could barely even get to his desk to say goodnight to him."

Prince Harry is not the only person with this perception. In fact, filmmaker John Bridcut confessed that he was also surprised by the Duke of Cornwall's energy considering his age.

"For a man about to turn 70, I think his energy surprises me the most," Birdcut told Vanity Fair. "He has amazing physical and mental energy. Yes, he is looked after in a way most of us aren’t, but he compensates by the amount he crams in."

Due to his responsibilities, Prince Charles is always busy. Prince William also observed the same. In fact, he was hoping that the Prince of Wales would have more time to spend with his grandchildren 5-year-old Prince George, 3-year-old Princess Charlotte and 6-month-old Prince Louis.

"It's something I'm working on heavily. I think he does have time for it, but I would like him to have more time with the children," Prince William said when asked if Prince Charles had the time to be a grandfather.

"Now he's reached his seventieth year, it’s the perfect time to consolidate a little bit because as most families do, you are worried about having them around and making sure their health is okay."

In the same documentary, Prince Charles was seen playing with Prince Louis. Prince William's youngest son giggles as his grandfather playfully clutched both of his little hands. Kate Middleton was carrying the baby in her arms and was beaming with joy as she watched them.
