They are moving to Windsor as they prepare to start their new lives as first-time parents, and now, a source says that leaving London is actually going to be a “really healthy move” for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

The unnamed source told the magazine that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are viewing the moves as an “escape” from the“fishbowl” aspects of life that they had while living in Kensington Palace in London, where things are more rigid because more senior members of the royal family are also present—like Prince William, Kate Middleton, and their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

“I presume it must be nice to get out and away,” the source said. “Without neighbors who are all either family or staff [at Kensington Palace], they will now have their own thing.”

In addition, there is a slower pace of life at their new home, Frogmore Cottage, which a former palace staffer told the publication will be appealing for the couple.

“It has the most amazing mulberry walk, where we would pick mulberries for Prince Philip’s mulberry gin. And when the Queen is there on a Sunday afternoon, it is a five-minute walk up the hill for tea with Granny. It is gorgeous,” the staffer said. “They will be able to sit on their front lawn and hear the sound of wood on willow of the cricket match.”

News of the couple’s move came shortly after initial reports that they were splitting their household from that of Prince William and Kate Middleton, as the younger royals prepare for the future, where they will be taking on different roles. While William is preparing to one day be King, Harry is taking on a smaller role since he is not an heir, and the brothers have divvied up their households as a result. While William and Kate still have their home and offices at Kensington Palace, Harry and Meghan are set to move to Windsor any day now, while their offices have already been relocated to Buckingham Palace.

The news of the split also prompted a series of reports about alleged feuds, both between Prince William and Prince Harry and Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle.
