Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been married for less than a year, but insiders say they can already see how the Duchess is changing her husband. Now, there are claims that he is more “high maintenance” since marrying the former actress.

Duncan Larcombe, former Royal Editor for The Sun, said that the Duke of Sussex’s staff members aren’t thrilled with his attitude since Meghan Markle joined the family.

“All of Harry’s staff have always thought he was fantastic, but the two of them [together] are high maintenance,” Larcombe told Page Six.

The former royal reporter emphasized that Harry’s laidback personality has made him a fan favorite for many years. “What people love about Harry is that he wears his heart on his sleeve,” Larcombe added. “He’s down to earth, a normal guy trapped in the royal world, and he doesn’t take himself very seriously. But now he is.”

Larcombe added that Prince Harry isn’t just demanding. He isn’t in a good mood, either. He is “quite grumpy and aloof from his own inner circle of staff. Harry was always very pally with [them], so this is very unlike him.”

Meghan has had to deal with rumors that she is difficult for months now. From rumors of 5 a.m. emails to palace sources calling her a “fire-breathing dragon,” it seems like everything has been said about the Duchess. However, the Duke usually isn’t the one at the center of the rumored problems.

This contradicts other reports that the Duchess of Sussex has made Prince Harry happier and healthier. “All she [Meghan] did was show him there’s another way to live and he’s become a huge fan. He eats well, doesn’t poison his body, exercises, does a bit of yoga and is a lot happier,” an anonymous insider told Express.
