Meghan Markle difficult

Meghan Markle’s differences with other royals aren’t so delightful anymore. Palace sources claim she is causing too much trouble with her demands and royal rule-breaking.

“Meghan was expected to be a breath of fresh air, but she’s turned into a fire-breathing dragon,” an anonymous source told The National Enquirer. “She’s ripping up the royal rule book and rewriting her role like she’s the star and her position is a part in a Hollywood movie!”

Express reports that other palace insiders have dubbed Meghan “Duchess Difficult.” Rumors of her demands include air fresheners for the church she was married in, 5 a.m. call times for staffers and supposedly reducing Kate Middleton to tears during wedding prep (a claim Kensington Palace later denied).

The latest reports that the Duchess of Sussex is too demanding and outspoken come after royal aide Samantha Cohen announced she’d soon be leaving her post as Prince Harry’s Chief of Staff. Nicknamed “Samantha the Panther,” Cohen has been with the royal family since 2003.

According to People, however, Cohen was never intended to stay with Meghan and Harry permanently. She took the role to help Meghan adjust to royal life, but it was always an “interim” position. She is officially launching the search for someone to permanently fill the role, but she is expected to remain with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex until after Meghan gives birth and a replacement is found.

Cohen’s announcement follows the resignation of Meghan’s personal assistant Melissa Touabti, who spent six months in the role.
