Prince Charles reportedly gave a touching speech at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s royal wedding two years ago.

According to The Telegraph reporter Victoria Ward, Prince Charles’ speech was incredibly touching that he left the approximately 600 guests teary-eyed.

“As he addressed 600 guests gathered at the reception in St George’s Hall, there was barely a dry eye as he spoke so warmly about his ‘darling old Harry’ and the man he had grown into,” she wrote.

According to Ward, Prince Charles told the guests how incredibly moving it was to see his little boy move on. Prince Harry had been in and out of relationships before he decided to settle down with Markle. However, not everyone was on board with the idea of the two tying the knot shortly after they met.

Prince William reportedly tried to convince Prince Harry to push back his wedding to Markle since they’ve only been dating for over a year. However, the future king’s suggestion did not sit well with his younger brother.

Meanwhile, John Hornby, the chairman of Prince Harry’s Sentebale charity, also attended the royal wedding reception. He described the gathering as an event with a really warm atmosphere. He also said that the speeches were both touching and funny.

Prince Charles was clearly really moved for this moment, for Harry. The laughs turned it into a bit of a party atmosphere. Then Elton John started playing, it was great fun. There was a lot of tradition but also a lot of modernity,” he said.

Two years after the royal wedding, Prince Charles has reportedly become enraged with Prince Harry because of the latter’s decision to step down from his royal duties.

A source told The Sun that the heir to the throne and Prince William are incandescent with rage because of how they found out about Prince Harry and Markle’s bombshell exit, which was from the television.
