  • Rob Lowe saw Prince Harry in the Montecito neighborhood sporting a ponytail
  • James Corden didn't believe that Lowe really saw Prince Harry
  • "The Outsiders" star insisted that it was Prince Harry because he followed his car to his house

Prince Harry has reportedly already grown his hair long and has been wearing a ponytail.

Rob Lowe appeared on "The Late Late Show With James Corden" Monday where he shared the time he spotted Prince Harry in the Montecito neighborhood. "The Outsiders" star said he saw Meghan Markle's husband driving a car just minutes before he appeared on the show.

"I just ran into your countryman, the English treasure, Prince Harry, at the stoplight 10 minutes ago," he was quoted by Us Weekly, as saying. "He lives about a mile from me. He’s been very reclusive. Seeing him in the neighborhood is like seeing the Loch Ness Monster, and I finally saw him. I finally saw him driving his car."

He also added that he "may have a scoop" on Prince Harry after the sighting. He hinted about the duke's new appearance.

"It was very, very quick — don’t totally quote me on it — but it looked like he’s wearing a ponytail," the "Parks and Recreation" alum continued. "I’m just saying. It looked to me as a casual observer that his hair had grown very long and was pulled back very tightly by what I can only assume was a ponytail."

Corden didn't believe his guest. He wasn't convinced that Lowe saw Prince Harry as what he claimed.

"I’m certain that isn’t true. Do you know what I think happened? I think you didn’t see Prince Harry," he said.

However, Lowe insisted that he saw Prince Harry and it wasn't a mistake.

"Oh no, it was him because I have to say — I followed him to the house to see if the car went in," he quipped.

Prince Harry and Markle are residing in their mansion in Santa Barbara a year after they decided to step down from their royal duties. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex reportedly have no regrets over their decision to settle in the United States.

However, their freedom also cost them greatly. Prince Harry was stripped of his military honors and roles as Commonwealth Youth Ambassador. Meanwhile, Markle had to embrace motherhood while being a working mom. She also had to endure moving from one home to another. Their finances were also affected, but they are already doing well at present after signing a multimillion production deal with Netflix.
