Prince Harry had the most hilarious reaction to meeting Prince George for the first time days after the young royal was born.

In the book “Harry: Conversations With the Prince,” royal author Angela Levin said that the Duke of Sussex opened up about his first meeting with his nephew while at a photographic exhibition in London as part of his work for Sentebale.

Prince Harry told the royal author that Prince George was crying his eyes out during their meeting so he was forced to cuddle him. Meghan Markle’s husband was also delighted with his nephew’s birth.

But it was his statement in reference to Prince William that captured the royal author’s attention. According to Levin, Prince Harry said that Prince William should know how expensive his babysitting charges are.

“To make sure he has a good upbringing, keep him out of harm’s way and to make sure he has fun. The rest I’ll leave to the parents,” he said.

Three years later, former first lady Michelle Obama also weighed in on Prince Harry’s special relationship with Prince George. During the Invictus Game launch, Barack Obama’s wife said that the most precious thing about Markle’s husband is his relationship with Prince William and Kate Middleton’s eldest child.

“I have to say that the most precious thing – if you haven’t already fallen in love with [Harry] – is to see him with his nephew. Because all throughout [Prince George] was like, ‘Uncle Harry, why are you so quiet? Why are you so quiet?’” she said.

The ex-FLOTUS also called Prince Harry a “pretty good uncle.”

During his interview with Daily Mail, Prince Harry also gushed over his nephew and niece, Princess Charlotte. He said that the reason why he was fifth in line to the throne back then was because of Prince William’s children.

He said that he could never wish them away because they are the most amazing things ever.
