Prince William had his own fair share of mischievous years too just like his younger brother, Prince Harry.

In a documentary titled “Prince William at Thirty,” royal experts shared how the Duke of Cambridge was when he was still a kid. According to them, he was not afraid to get into trouble.

“He was a little bit of a daredevil, he liked getting up to all sorts of mischief,” former royal press secretary Dickie Arbiter said.

Royal correspondent Katie Nicholl claimed that Prince William was named “Basher Wills” when he was in the nursery because the royal was always willing to fight others.

Prince William reportedly had a “rough-and-tumble” playground behavior that’s why he was called “the basher” by some parents. There were also stories circulating online that he would occasionally flex his royal muscles by telling other teachers about his royal family.

“My daddy can beat up your daddy…my daddy’s the Prince of Wales,” Prince William was quoted to have said when he was still very young.

He also angered some of his classmates by pushing his way to the front of refreshment queues. The duke’s behavior when he was a child raised eyebrows.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry’s mischievous years continued until he was a teen and before he met and dated his now wife, Meghan Markle. In 2012, his nude photos landed on the cover pages of the tabloids after it was leaked following a game of strip billiards.

Prince William and Prince Harry’s first serious rift had something to do with their mischievous acts and how one of them could easily get away with it.

Nicholl revealed that at one point, Prince Harry resented the fact that he had been blamed for everything while his big brother, Prince William, could get away with things scot-free.

At the time, Prince Charles and Princess Diana’s sons were barely on speaking terms. Prince William felt guilty and visited Prince Harry at Eton to end their rift.

At present, Prince Harry remains the “damage” and “wild” one in the royal family. Netizens have different opinions about this matter. Some believe that it’s because he is just a spare, meanwhile, others think that the critics aren’t happy that he’s now a better man and has found a strong and beautiful wife like Markle.
