Prince William and Kate Middleton started out as friends at the University of St. Andrews. But after one special moment, the Duke of Cambridge realized that he wanted to date the Duchess of Cambridge.

In the YouTube documentary “Prince William at Thirty,” the narrator revealed that Middleton took part in a charity fashion show called “Don’t Walk” wearing a revealing outfit. Prince William attended the fashion show with some of his friends but without any idea what he would see.

The mom of three walked on the runway wearing revealing clothing, and Prince William was surprised to see how hot his wife is.

“William took his place in the audience and was about to see Kate in a whole new light,” the narrator said. Prince William’s friend, Jules Knight, added, “She was on the catwalk and looked amazing. And suddenly this sort of butterfly emerged from the chrysalis.”

According to royal author Katie Nicholl, Prince William’s eyes popped out when he saw Middleton in her lingerie. Shortly after the fashion show concluded, Prince William and Middleton dated each other in private. They were able to keep their relationship a secret for 18 months. But shortly after, the media learned the real score between the couple.

Two years later, the couple struggled to make their relationship work because of all the media attention that they were receiving. Prince William and Middleton decided to call it quits the first time around. But it didn’t take them very long to get back together.

In 2007, the couple once again split due to the pressures of the public. During this time, rumors were ripe that Prince William will be proposing to Middleton. But instead of getting engaged, Prince William once again decided to end their relationship. But a few months later, they got back together.

Three years later, Prince William and Middleton announced their engagement. In 2011, they finally tied the knot.
