Princess Diana left an estate to a person who was not a family member.

The late Princess of Wales left the majority of her estate to her two sons Prince William and Prince Harry. She also left some money to her immediate family and godchildren.

However, there was one shocking person who also received a portion of her estate and he is not a family member. According to Julia Mullaney, Princess Diana left an estate to her butler, Paul Burrell.

Princess Diana and Burrell were very close. In fact, in a previous interview, the former royal butler said that he would have done everything for the princess.

“I would have done anything for Diana,” Burrell said.

Burrell said that months before her death, Princess Diana told him that she was suspecting Prince Charles of plotting an automobile accident to kill her. The People’s Princess was convinced that her husband wanted her dead, so he could marry his mistress Camilla Parker Bowles.

Princess Diana kept on writing and leaving notes to Burrell about her suspicions. He was shocked when the car crash that took Princess Diana’s life happened. He realized that she had a premonition.

“That is spooky. She predicted her own death nine months before she died,” he said.

Prince Charles and Princess Diana did not have a happy marriage. According to royal experts, the future king didn’t really love her because he was always in love with Camilla.

When their divorce was finalized, Princess Diana called a friend while crying. Their divorce took years before it was finalized because she didn’t want to divorce her husband in the first place.

“I remember when she got her decree absolute from Charles, she called me up in tears. I said ‘You’ll be fine,’” Princess Diana’s friend Nish Joshi said.

“Then after a moment she collected herself and said, ‘Well, I suppose £21million is not bad for an ex-nanny,’ which I thought was cute,” Joshi continued.

Meanwhile, Queen Elizabeth II was vilified following Princess Diana’s death. Many criticized the monarch and the royal family for not flying back to London after the accident and for keeping Prince William and Prince Harry in Balmoral.
