Queen Elizabeth II and Steve Harvey seem to have the same taste when it comes to bright-colored outfits.

One Reddit user noticed the comedian and monarch wearing matching outfits in different events, Daily Mail reported. The user shared three photos of Queen Elizabeth II and Harvey in which the two wear yellow, light blue and burgundy outfits. "Queen Elizabeth and Steve Harvey always dress like they're going to the prom together," the caption read.

Harvey's sky blue outfit, which he matched with a navy tie and pocket square, made its debut at the BET Awards in 2011. Meanwhile, the Queen wore her light blue coat in November 2017.

Harvey's burgundy suit in 2015 also perfectly matched Her Majesty's coat last March. When the photographs are placed side by side, it's as if the two indeed agreed to wear matching outfits.

Queen Elizabeth II is popular for wearing bright outfits. The monarch also makes sure to match her coat with hats and umbrellas of the same shade.

In fact, Queen Elizabeth II owns a number of colored umbrellas just to ensure that she has a corresponding brolly that will match whatever outfit she wears on that day.

According to Sophie, Countess of Wessex, there's a reason why Queen Elizabeth II opts for bright colors, and it has something to do with her role.

"She needs to stand out for people to be able to say 'I saw the Queen,'" Sophie explained in the Smithsonian Channel documentary "The Queen at 90." "Don't forget that when she turns up somewhere, the crowds are two, three, four, 10, 15 deep, and someone wants to be able to say they saw a bit of the Queen's hat as she went past."

In related news, Queen Elizabeth's daily routine was recently revealed. She reportedly spends most of her weekdays doing extensive paperwork. Then she takes her dog for a long walk, which is her favorite pastime. The Queen's regular days usually go on this way.

However, prior to fulfilling her office duties, she starts her day with a pot of Earl Grey tea and tea biscuits. She doesn't add sugar to her tea, but doesn't mind adding a little milk to it. Then she eats her breakfast every 8:30 a.m. with her husband, Prince Philip.
