Queen Elizabeth II never worried about Meghan Markle in a particular area unlike Kate Middleton.

There’s one thing about the Duchess of Sussex that that the Duchess of Cambridge lacks which saves the Queen from worrying. According to Stefan Preston, unlike Middleton, Markle has an established career.

According to previous reports, the Queen has three grave concerns about Middleton before she married Prince William. Among Her Majesty’s concerns was Middleton’s lack of career and identity.

“Privately she [the Queen] had grave concerns and believed that Kate needed to have a job and an identity in her own right before an engagement was announced,” Katie Nicholl said. “It is Her Majesty’s opinion that if Kate is one day going to be William’s consort, then she needs a proper job.”

While the Queen thought Middleton was not established enough, the monarch was impressed with Markle’s background and expertise. Prior to dating Prince Harry, the Duchess of Sussex had a thriving career as an actress.

Also, Markle’s induction was rather swift compared to Middleton. Unlike the Duchess of Cambridge, Markle appeared well-prepared to handle her royal duties and responsibilities.

Earlier this year, royal fans aired their disappointment about Middleton. One netizen said that Middleton was not at the level she expected her to be. For her, the Duchess of Cambridge was stuck at year one and never improved eight years after joining the royal family. Meanwhile, another netizen called Middleton “duchess dolittle.”

Markle’s fans also criticized Middleton’s productivity by comparing her to Prince Harry’s wife.

“I only got one thing to say, no matter what you think, Kate will never be on Meghan’s level, all that lazy consort did was marry a Prince, she don’t know about working, and connecting with others, don't disrespect Meghan like that.. #DuchessOfSussex,” one netizen wrote on Twitter.

However, not everyone was also impressed with Markle. In a segment of “60 Minutes Australia,” Princess Diana’s ex-secretary Patrick Jefferson criticized the Duchess of Sussex for promising to “hit the ground running” without knowing where she’s “running to.” He advised Markle to do “less” because she is only the wife of the sixth in line to the throne before adding that the duchess is “constitutionally irrelevant.”
