Queen Elizabeth II was photographed looking furious days after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle quit royal roles.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex shocked the world when they announced that they are taking a step back from being senior royals on Wednesday. Prince Harry and Markle said that they will continue to collaborate with Queen Elizabeth, Prince Charles and Prince William. They added that they will work to be financially independent.

On Friday, Her Majesty was spotted for the first time after the Sussexes’ shocking announcement and after the crisis talks among the royal households. The Queen was driving her Land Rover around Sandringham. Based on the photos shared by Express, the monarch looked furious while wearing a headscarf.

On Thursday evening, Buckingham Palace released a statement saying that there will be a crisis talk among Her Majesty (Bucking Palace), Prince Charles (Clarence House) and Prince William (Kensington Palace). It happened a day after Prince Harry and Markle announced their exit from the royal family.

According to previous reports, the Queen was furious and disappointed at Prince Harry and Markle because they didn’t consult the senior members of the royal family before they made the big announcement on their social media account. An insider told royal correspondent Rebecca English that the royal family were “deeply disappointed” and “shocked, saddened and downright furious” at the royal couple.

One insider said that the people in the palace had bent over backwards for the Sussexes. In fact, Prince Harry and Markle got the wedding they wanted, the house they desired as well as the office and tours they requested. Thus, many were not happy with the way they treated the monarch.

“It’s deeply unfair to the Queen who doesn’t deserve to be treated this way. It is a shoddy way to treat her. The family understands that they want to do something different and is perfectly willing to help them. People are just devastated,” one source said.

In related news, Prince Harry and Markle have reportedly built over $500 million empire months before they announced their split from the royal family. Retail expert Andy Barr said that the couple could make a multi-million revenue business with their brand. Meanwhile, Daily Mail said that the Sussexes have already used their trademark to over 100 items including pencils, socks and bookmarks.
