Queen Elizabeth is reportedly fed up with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s ongoing jabs at the royal family. As Elizabeth nears her 94th birthday, insiders have claimed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s exit has taken an emotional toll on the monarch.

On Jan. 8, Harry and Meghan announced their plan to step back from their senior royal roles and become financially independent. However, the couple failed to inform the Queen about the release of the statement.

In the end, the couple was allowed to step down from their responsibilities and prohibited from using the “Sussex Royal” name for their nonprofit organization and other projects. The loss of the prestigious moniker appeared to be a sore spot for the couple, who were accused of shading Queen Elizabeth over the weekend.

Sources recently told Us Weekly that the monarch has reached her breaking point with Meghan and Prince Harry. “She’s exhausted, both physically and emotionally,” the insider explained.

“She’s approaching her 94th birthday in April and should be at a stage in her life where she can ease up and be supported by her loved ones,” the source added.

Insiders claimed Meghan and Harry haven’t been any help in easing Queen Elizabeth’s stress levels since they made their announcement. “The drama’s never-ending. She’s so frustrated,” the source revealed.

On Saturday, the couple shared an update on their official website that revealed their trademark applications that were filed for “Sussex Royal” had been removed.

“While there is not any jurisdiction by The Monarchy or Cabinet Office over the use of the word ‘Royal’ overseas, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex do not intend to use ‘Sussex Royal’ or any iteration of the word ‘Royal’ in any territory (either within the UK or otherwise) when the transition occurs Spring 2020,” the couple said in a statement.

Meghan and Prince Harry are expected to officially step away from their senior royal roles on March 31.
