Rachel Zoe stepped out on Monday night for the 2012 Met Gala in New York City wearing a strapless gown of her own design. Although her styling of supermodel Karolina Kurkova landing her on many Best Dressed lists, Rachel Zoe's skinny frame had some concerned.

Rachel Zoe opted for a strapless white fringe gown accessorized with an oversize collar necklace and a beige clutch. The dress revealed Zoe's slender shoulders and, when she turned to the side, her super-skinny frame.

The 40-year-old new mom's appearance had some worried that the stylist is losing weight.

Rachel Zoe is looking very skinny again, commented Us Weekly magazine.

There was lots of eye-catching fashion at the 2012 MET Gala, but Rachel Zoe's thin frame grabbed our attention. Wearing a gown of her own creation, the always-slender reality star designer looked smaller than ever, commented WetPaint.

Rachel Zoe herself looked scary-skinny [at the Met Gala], as always, read a post on the In Case You Didn't Know blog.

Chatter over Rachel Zoe's skinny physique is nothing new.

In 2006, there was tension between Zoe and her ex-client Nicole Richie. Richie had posted a blind item on her MySpace page about a raisin face who whispers her order of 3 pieces of asparagus for dinner at Chateau every night, and hides her deathly disorder by pointing the finger at me, reported Celebitchy.

In 2008, Rachel Zoe spoke to Harper's Bazaar about her weight issues, saying: It's hard for me to take care of myself, let's put it that way. I am my last priority... [sometimes I'll only had coffee and a grapefruit [all day]... it's not that I don't eat. I eat.

When asked if she thinks her size-0 frame influences other women, the stylist responded, It's old news and it's ridiculous. I work with Liv Tyler, Jennifer Garner, Demi Moore, Cameron Diaz, all extraordinary healthy, beautiful women. They would laugh at that question.

I never think about skinniness when I'm getting dressed or dressing anyone. It's just the style I'm most comfortable with. If people like big glasses and big bags, that's great. It's just an exaggerated style, she said at the time.

In January 2010, Zoe called rumors of an eating disorder silly.

Truthfully, I've never seen myself as being too thin, she told E! News. Sometimes I'll look at photos and be like, 'Oh, that's not a good look.' But generally speaking, I'm not too thin.

Do you think Rachel Zoe looked exceptionally skinny at the Met Gala? Or is skinny just her natural build?
