Reality Behind Katie Holmes, Jamie Foxx Moving Into $56 Million NYC Penthouse

Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx were not moving into a $56 million penthouse in New York City, despite rumors. Gossip Cop debunked reports stating the two were recently spotted checking out an apartment.

According to Woman’s Day Australia, Holmes and Foxx were spotted checking out a five-bedroom “high security” apartment on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, which apparently includes a 360-degree view of the city, a dining terrace, library and private elevator.

The magazine quoted an insider saying, “It’s tucked away in a quiet corner of Manhattan, and Katie fell in love with it the moment she saw it.” The insider added Holmes was “delighted” Foxx has agreed to move from Los Angeles.

“Katie thinks the world of Jamie and says he’s the sweetest, kindest man she has ever known. Living together would be the icing on the cake!” the alleged source added.

Earlier this year, Gossip Cop debunked a similar false report in Woman’s Day New Zealand stating the two were buying a $30 million townhouse. The magazine claimed the pair was “apparently been living together since 2017” and even though they had “love pad,” they were “planning on getting a very expensive new place together.” However, it hasn’t happened yet and the Australian edition decided to give a similar narrative by just hiking the price and changing its location.

The entire story was false as the stars have no plans of settling down anytime soon and though they enjoy spending time together they reportedly had no plans of living under the same roof.

Earlier this year, People reported they have separate lives and do not wish to join them together.

The website quoted an insider saying, “Jamie and Katie’s relationship is not a secret but they both like to keep it under the radar. They have nothing to hide but Jamie, especially, is very low key about his life in general, and rarely talks about it. He is not one to acknowledge anything about his private life and neither does Katie.”

“They are happy, they just don’t flaunt anything. Jamie will always go out of his way to stay discreet. That is his way, and it works for him. If they could stay secret forever, Jamie would be happy. They don’t see themselves as a couple in the traditional sense and they don’t want to be labeled as a couple. They don’t want to have expectations placed on them about how they should be acting in public, how often they should be seen together and what they should or shouldn’t mean to each other,” the insider added.

Holmes split from Tom Cruise following six years of marriage in 2013 and the two have an 11-year-old daughter, Suri.
