Subaru is losing it as the witches try to convince him to take the deal in "Re:Zero - Starting Life In Another World" Season 2, Episode 13.

The official synopsis for the upcoming episode teases that Subaru will decline Echidna’s offer. In the meantime, the Witch of Envy, Satella, appears. Like other witches, Satella also reaches out to Subaru, but he will put down her offer.

The preview trailer for "Re:Zero - Starting Life In Another World" Season 2, Episode 13 showcases Subaru breaking down as the witches battle with each other. During the episode, Subaru will declare that he doesn’t need the witches as he sets out to find the solution.

In the last episode, Subaru gets a glimpse of various events in the second trial. Waking up in the graveyard, he is determined to save Emilia, the Sanctuary and Roswaal’s mansion.

Later, Subaru heads to the trial area and reaches out to Echidna. However, before the witch appears, he is stuck in what appears to be a "loop of flashbacks" where he is getting killed leaving Subaru in a miserable state.

Once the loop ends, Rem appears before him as Subaru pours his heart out. Rem consoles the visibly terrified Subaru. However, Subaru feels she is faking it and calls her out.

It is revealed that a girl named Carmilla, who is the Witch of Lust, took Rem’s form and appeared before Subaru.
