Fights broke out and 11 people were arrested on Sunday after anti-Trump protesters interrupted a "Jews for Trump" rally in New York. Rudy Giuliani accidentally encountered the parade, and he wished it could be a campaign commercial.

A parade of cars driven by those who call themselves “Jews for Trump” took a drive through the city of Manhattan over the weekend. A group of anti-Trump supporters from Brooklyn screamed at the pro-Trump group and eventually blocked them. A confrontation followed.

President Trump’s personal lawyer and the former mayor of Manhattan, Rudolph Giuliani, saw the parade of cars when he was riding down Fifth Avenue after recording his radio show, according to the New York Times.

Giuliani talked about the violence that he saw on Sunday and responded, “I would love to have had a campaign commercial of it and put it on in the middle of America and say, 'Who would you prefer for the next four years?'

“This group of foul-mouthed people who don’t seem to have a vocabulary beyond three words, or these very nice Jewish people who are driving in the car and not saying anything back and not doing anything other than exercising their right to say they’re for Donald Trump?”

Various groups were involved, TMZ reports, including the Proud Boys and Antifa.

There were many slurs that were passed back and forth from those present, and physical violence started to break out.

Police eventually arrested 11 individuals for disorderly conduct, according to the Times. There were also a few anti-Trump protesters that were throwing things at the caravan of pro-Trump supporters.

The caravan of Jews for Trump started their Sunday drive in Brooklyn, passed through Times Square and ended when they got to Manhattan’s Upper East Side. They were holding American flags out the window and honking on their horns through the streets of New York.

In regards to those who were arrested, the Times stated that a police officer on the scene explained, “All have been released except for a 36-year-old man who threw eggs in the faces of two police officers.”
