Grace and Harris have to set aside their differences in Season 1, episode 11 of “Salvation.”

According to the synopsis for next week’s episode of the CBS suspense drama, Grace (Jennifer Finnigan) and Harris (Ian Anthony Dale) must forge an alliance when both of their children’s lives are put in jeopardy.

Grace’s daughter, Zoe (Rachel Drance), and Harris’ son, Dylan (André Dae Kim), were last seen together in Season 1, episode 10. In the episode, Grace caught the two making out inside a car. Grace asked Zoe to get out of the vehicle because she wanted her to know that the world might be ending soon. But Zoe refused, telling her mom that she’s done talking to her with all her lies.

Although that meeting didn’t end well for Grace and Zoe, the episode wrapped up without any direct threat to Zoe and Dylan’s lives. But because Grace and Harris have recently made enemies in the government, it won’t be surprising if those people end up using Zoe and Dylan to make sure that Grace and Harris will be on the same page with them.

Meanwhile, Grace and Harris have their own issues to resolve. For one, Grace is upset at Harris for covering up the government’s misdeeds even after an assassin almost killed her.

Last episode, after it was revealed that President Mackenzie (Tovah Feldshuh) decided to tell the public about Project Samson, Harris asked Grace to stay at the Pentagon. Grace, however, declined Harris’ request, revealing that she’s actually thinking of quitting her job as Pentagon press secretary after an attempt on her life was made. “Right around the time when I was almost strangled and learned the government might be responsible [for it]. That’s about the same time I started thinking, maybe I need a new job,” Grace told Harris.

Elsewhere in episode 11, Liam (Charlie Rowe) presents Jillian (Jacqueline Byers) with an unusual proposal. While it’s unclear what the proposal is, it might have something to do with Jillian’s work on Darius’ top secret project, Salvation, or with Liam’s attempt to win her heart back.

“Salvation” Season 1, episode 11, titled “All In,” airs on Wednesday, Sept. 6 at 9 p.m. EDT on CBS.
