Following Donald Trump’s win in the U.S. presidential election people have been vocal about their unhappiness with the results. Several celebrities have shared their opinion about the president-elect with the latest perspective coming from “Family Guy” creator Seth MacFarlane.

On Friday, the actor posted a message to his Twitter account in which he explained why people in Hollywood dislike Trump. “We live and work amongst his kind every day here. His tactics are employed by the shiftiest of agents, lawyers, and publicists,” MacFarlane wrote.

“We’ve learned to recognize the blustery showmanship of a lying con man because we encounter every day in our business,” he stated. The actor, who voices several characters on the Fox series, went on to explain that methods used by Trump are familiar to people in Hollywood because they have faced negative outcomes from similar actions.

“Trump is not of the people. Trump is of Hollywood. And that’s the problem,” the television producer ended his statement.

Following his post the actor received some backlash from Twitter users. “@SethMacFarlane should go back in his safe-space and go colour!” wrote one user. “I courdially thank you for the impourtant little moursel of advice. Maybe I'm beating a dead hourse. Or I just have an anxiety disourder,” MacFarlane replied.

The actor attempted to take a “break from all the nonsense” but shortly after posted another tweet. “You are so delusional - you'd rather have a criminal in the WH than a con man who puts USA first - I still love Teds 1&2,” wrote another Twitter user to which MacFarlane responded, “I feel like this sums up my complex relationship with my viewers.”

This is not the first time MacFarlane has shared his dislike of Trump. Following the results of the presidential election in November, he tweeted about his disappointment over Hillary Clinton's loss. "Some didn't like Bush. Some didn't like Obama. But this is different. Forget dislike. Many are genuinely fearful now. This is new," the actor wrote.
