“Shameless” Season 6 Spoilers
Fiona (Emmy Rossum) and Sean (Dermot Mulroney) will take one step closer to getting hitched in the Season 6 finale of “Shameless.” Showtime

It’s been a long, rough season for the Gallagher kids, and it looks like things will only get more chaotic for the Chicago clan in the Season 6 finale of “Shameless.” But luckily Frank’s (William H. Macy) offspring will rally together in the upcoming Showtime installment to help each other move forward during what seems to be the most chaotic their lives have ever been.

According to the synopsis for episode 12, titled “Familia Supra Gallegorious Omnia!”, the series will end with the arrival of Fiona’s (Emmy Rossum) wedding day — you know, the one Frank promised he would pay for. But in episode 11, it was revealed that Frank will apply the money he'd gathered for Fiona’s wedding reception to a different investment: the murder of his future son-in-law.

In the previous installment, Frank paid a grand to put a hit on Sean (Dermot Mulroney), who consistently pushes Fiona to cut Frank out of her life. (Seriously, why do they still let him in their house?) Frank will continue to work on his plan to get Sean out of the picture in episode 12 when he shows up to Fiona’s wedding “uninvited and high.” During his unwelcome appearance, he’ll divulge some unflattering information about Sean — that Fiona’s fiancé is “still a practicing junkie.”

The summary also says Sean will do everything in his power to keep his son in his life — and we have a feeling that will involve ending his relationship with Fiona. Could we expect Fiona to be left at the altar in the Season 6 finale of “Shameless”? Or will Frank have Sean killed before he has the option to become a runaway groom?

Meanwhile, Ian (Cameron Monaghan) will attempt to win back his job in episode 12 with a pretty convincing speech on why he shouldn’t have been fired in the first place. We’re keeping our fingers crossed for Ian — maybe at least one Gallagher will find some good fortune!

“Shameless” airs Sundays at 9 p.m. EDT on Showtime.
