Shares in business class-airline Silverjet were suspended on Friday by the London Stock Exchange.

At the beginning of May Silverjet said that it had entered into a £8.4 million loan facility agreement and a £4.3 million subscription agreement with Viceroy Holdings LLC.

Silverjet said that it had requested $5 million under the loan facility on 2 May but said it had yet to receive the full amount.

As a result, the company, which has limited capital reserves, requested that the London Stock Exchange suspend its shares. The request was granted.

Silverjet said that it was in talks with other parties who are interested in investing in the airline and confirmed that flights would continue as scheduled.
