"Sister Wives" star Christine Brown gave an update on her relationship with her former sister wives, Meri and Robyn, after breaking up with Kodi Brown.

Christine opened up about her dynamics with her ex Kody and her three former sister wives, Meri, Janelle and Robyn.

Christine told Us Weekly that she was no longer on speaking terms with Meri and Robyn. She also recently reunited with Kody and Robyn at a family function, and it was "awkward."

"Oh gosh, it was a little bit awkward," she recalled of the reunion. "But, you know, you put your adult hat on, and you move forward, and that's just what you do. So, it was fine."

Christine said she hasn't spoken to Meri, 51, and Robyn, 44, at about the same time she left Kody in Arizona and moved back to Utah in November 2021.

"It's the same as it was when I left, and so nothing [changed]," she told the outlet. "I haven't really spoken to either of them."

When asked if she was sad about her relationship with Meri and Robyn, Christine said, "Not right now."

"I think that right now, what I'm really hoping to do is just to get a really good solid foundation on just being me," she added.

Although the TLC star is not as close to Meri and Robyn, she found a great friend in Janelle, 53. She has been seeing Janelle multiple times, and they have gone on several trips together.

"She's come to visit me several times. I have a guest room, and she stays in the guest room, and her sister also lives about a half an hour from me," Christine said of Janelle. "So she'll see her, and then she loves seeing Aspyn and Mykelti and the baby and all of it. So we've gone on a couple of trips together too."

Christine also opened up about her discussion with the three women when she decided to break up with Kody. According to her, it was one of the tougher scenes to watch back over the years, especially when she saw Janelle's reaction.

"The conversation where I told everybody that I was leaving Kody — when Janelle broke down — that stands out as one of the things that was hardest to see," Christine explained.

"Just [because] Janelle really kind of knew [about the split] and for her to break down like that and just talk about the loss of, like, what is she supposed to do with her kids now, you know, that was difficult."

Christine has since declared that she plans to only enter into monogamous relationships after her split from Kody, Entertainment Tonight reported.

"Sister Wives" season 17 premieres Sunday, Sept. 11 at 10 p.m. ET on TLC.
