“Star Wars Battlefront 2” is continuing to woo players with exciting new content. The most important update to look forward to this month is the introduction of Darth Tyranus, with EA revealing the release date of the character’s introduction, among other updates.

After the grand success of introducing characters from the original trilogy, like General Grievous, “Star Wars Battlefront 2” will be introducing a familiar Sith Lord known as Darth Tyranus a.k.a Count Dooku. The announcement was made in a post on Twitter on the official page of the “Star Wars” game by the company.

The Darth Tyranus update will be released on the 23rd of this month. Count Dooku will be a playable character with his new “Dark Ritual” appearance, which will be a part of the in-game purchase options. EA is yet to tease what this new appearance will be like exactly. A teaser may be released in the coming days, ahead of the update.

According to a report by Playstation Lifestyle, the Darth Tyanus in the game has been voiced by Corey Burton. The character was played by Christopher Lee.

With every new major update, “Star Wars Battlefront 2” also introduces a new skin for the Stormtrooper class. This time around the players can purchase the Coruscant Guard appearance, which is a type of a Clone Trooper uniform.

Some of the other major events this month are triple experience events. The first triple XP event will be from 4th till the 6th, in which players can quickly upgrade their characters by playing Heroes vs. Villains and Hero Showdown. The next event is from the 11th till the 13th that is exclusively for Troopers. The last XP event for the month is between the 18th and the 20th for starfighters in Starfighter Assault and Hero Starfighter.

There is also a Battle Point event titled “Eras.” On the 25th, all the era-appropriate heroes will get a 50 percent reduction in Battle Point costs for all Galactic Assault maps. Non-era heroes will be unavailable at that time.

According to Wccftech, the title of the next big upgrade in February is rumored to be “Titan.” A new multiplayer mode in this update is expected to be similar to the one in “Battlefield 2142,” in which each side is tasked with destroying the opponent’s biggest armored warship.

The February update is also significant because it will introduce Anakin Skywalker as a playable character. This new hero character is from a time before he turned to the Dark Side completely.
