Reunion of casts and crews of hit TV series of old has become popular. Such virtual gatherings have become a very effective tool for raising funds and spreading awareness in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, it’s the cast of “Star Trek: Voyager’s turn as they come together virtually to celebrate the show’s 25th anniversary.

According to CBR, “Star Trek" cast and crew will celebrate through the “Stars in the House” virtual charity event. Hosted by Seth Rudetsky and James Wesley, the event will have Kate Mulgrew, Roxann Dawson, Jeri Ryan, Robert Beltran, Robert Picardo, Robert Duncan McNeill, Garett Wang and Ethan Phillips. They will come together for the first time since the series’ final episode aired in 2001.

In this event, fans of the “Star Trek” TV series will be allowed to interact with the cast. It won’t be free, but the donations that will be collected from the event will go straight to the Actors Fund for the benefit of behind-the-scenes talents and performers. Similar to previous “Stars in the House” events, the “Star Trek" reunion will also feature live music.

Mulgrew, who played Kathryn Janeway in the show, expressed excitement on her reunion with former castmates. She said that the reunion will be “gratifying and novel” and that they have a lot to thank for; for instance, they are all alive and congenial, and they still have their works.

Aside from the “Stars in the House” charity events, actor and comedian Josh Gad is also putting efforts for his “Reunited Apart” initiative. This project also invites casts of different movies and TV shows to come together for charity. He was already able to bring back the cast of “Goonies” and “Back to the Future" together.

The casts of the “Voyager” TV series, which ran for seven seasons on UPN and earned numerous nominations from the Emmys and the Saturn Awards, are the next in line to appear at “Stars in the House" on May 26.
