KEY POINTS

  • Familiar characters will return in "Supernatural" Season 15
  • Benny Lafitte is expected to be featured in the next episode
  • The show returns on Jan. 16

The fans will have to wait until next month for the release date of the next part of “Supernatural” Season 15. New details about the show have surfaced online that give the fans an idea about what to expect when the show returns.

Since this is the last season of the popular fantasy, horror TV series, the producers have been bringing back characters from the previous seasons. That will continue when the show returns next month.

According to Screen Rant, one of the characters who may be featured in the next episode is Benny Lafitte (Ty Olsson). The character previously helped Dean (Jensen Ackles) to find his way out of Purgatory, but he went back there to help Sam (Jared Padalecki).

Benny has already appeared in one of Sam’s dreams in the current season, which is a good indication that the character will be back at some point. Purgatory is a huge place, but there is a good chance that the fans will get to see a reunion of Benny with the Winchester brothers in “Supernatural” Season 15

The other character who is expected to return is Crowley (Mark Sheppard). The character previously sacrificed himself in order to save the world from Lucifer. The character may now appear in a new avatar as the King of Hell.

Rowena (Ruth Connell) returned as the Queen of Hell soon after her death. According to Screen Rant, the character should not have returned so soon after her death because it blunts the impact of her death.

Meanwhile, The CW has released a new promo of the next part of the season. In the video, God shows Sam a vision of the future in which he faces new monsters, gets involved in a romance, and watches the grim fate that awaits his brother.

“Supernatural” Season 15 will return with episode 9 on Jan. 16 on The CW.
