Although “Switched at Birth” Season 5 will mark the series’ end, it doesn’t mean viewers won’t see new faces added to the mix. The final season will introduce a few new characters that will affect the lives of the main characters on the Freeform drama.

One of the newest additions to the cast will be Valery Ortiz. The actress will take on the role of Noelle, a respected tattoo artist who Bay (Vanessa Marano) wants to work with. However, when Bay meets new people, things don’t always end well for her. There is no telling whether Noelle will be a friend or a foe.

Michael Galante will add some romance to the series as UMKC student Luca, but he won’t be romancing Daphne or Bay. Luca will have eyes for Regina (Constance Marie). In the “Switched at Birth” Season 5 promo, Galante can be seen kissing Bay and Daphne’s (Katie Leclerc) mom.

Despite their age difference, Luca makes it clear that he wants to be with her but will Regina be willing to give their relationship a chance?

Gwendoline Yeo is scheduled to make an appearance in the Season 5 premiere as Ling. The actress, who has been in shows like “Desperate Housewives” and “American Crime,” will be a doctor who Daphne and Bay meet while in China.

Also coming to the cast is “Vampire Diaries” alum Tristin Mays. The actress will make her debut in episode 6 as a college student that forms a special bond with Regina. However, this relationship may stem from something deeper seeing as the young woman will have some unexpected ties to the Vasquez and Kennish family.

“Switched at Birth” Season 5 premieres Tuesday at 9 p.m. EST on Freeform.
