  • Tati Westbrook exposed Shane Dawson and Jeffree Star's role in her feud with James Charles
  • She said Dawson and Star fed her lies
  • Westbrook created a video slamming Charles last year

Tati Westbrook, who unleashed a YouTube video last year calling out James Charles, is coming forward with the truth behind the clip titled “Bye Sister.” She has alleged that Jeffree Star and Shane Dawson played a role in that feud.

In a tell-all video titled “Breaking My Silence,” Westbrook said that Dawson and Star manipulated her into making allegations against Charles in a 2019 video that ignited a feud with the 21-year-old.

At the time, the 38-year-old accused Charles of being unsupportive toward her vitamin brand, Halo, and sexually harassing straight identifying men both in public and in private, People reported. Westbrook also claimed that when she confronted the younger beauty guru over his alleged sexual misconduct, she claimed Charles responded, “I can do this because I’m a celebrity!”

Westbrook revealed that she and Charles communicated after she watched “The Beautiful World of Jeffree Star,” Dawson's YouTube documentary that also tackled the massive feud between the two beauty vloggers. After meeting in December last year, the Tati Beauty founder and the CoverGirl ambassador met and exchanged the direct messages they had with Star and Dawson.

Westbrook also said that at that point, she and her former enemy apologized to each other. She explained that Charles agreed to wait for her until she decides to share her story.

In the clip, Tati expressed how sorry she was once more to her fellow beauty vlogger and explained that she didn’t call Charles “a predator or danger to society.”

Eventually, Westbrook delved into the real reason she made the video lambasting Charles last year. She said that it wasn’t because of the vitamins, but it was actually the result of the “poisonous lies” given to her by Star and Dawson.

“I made it as a result of all the poisonous lies fed to me by Shane Dawson and Jeffree Star. James, I am so sorry I allowed myself to be poisoned and weaponized against you," Westbrook said.

Westbrook pointed out that she usually spots “deceit and manipulation from a mile away,” but she was manipulated by Dawson and Star because her guard was down. In addition, she recalled that the things the two collaborators told her were “terrifying,” like how Charles had a lot of victims who were coming out to cancel him.

Apparently, Star had been throwing shade at Charles after the Jeffree Star Cosmetics founder collaborated with Westbrook. After promising he will be a “better person,” Star continued to expose the “dirt” he had on other YouTubers.

Last year, Star began sharing awful things he claimed Charles did, and this “obsession” allegedly escalated to a point that it was the only thing he could talk about with Westbrook. Then, Star introduced her to Dawson, to whom she confided her secrets, including being a victim of sexual assault.

However, as Westbrook and Dawson became close, Star began revealing accusations against Charles, whom he described as “a monster with many victims.” Dawson and Star allegedly began feeding her information that made her sick.

Due to the “evidence” that they laid out, Westbrook admitted she started believing in what they said. The night before she filmed her video last year, Star sent an audio file of the alleged victim of Charles. After the clip was released, she realized that there was no victim who came out.
