Taylor Swift is releasing the re-recorded version of her hit song "Love Story."

Swift took to Twitter and made a big announcement for her fans. She will be releasing the new recording of "Love Story" Friday. She also informed her fans that the new version of her album "Fearless" is already done and it includes six new tracks.

"I’m thrilled to tell you that my new version of Fearless (Taylor’s Version) is done and will be with you soon. It has 26 songs including 6 never before released songs from the vault. Love Story (Taylor’s Version) will be out tonight," she tweeted.

Swift's post was accompanied by a lengthy statement explaining why she has to re-record not just "Fearless" but all of her first six albums.

"I've spoken a lot about why I'm remaking first six albums, but the way I've chosen to do this will hopefully help illuminate where I'm coming from," she wrote.

"Artists should own their own work for so many reasons, but the most screamingly obvious one is that the artist is the only one who really *knows* that body of work. For example, only I know which songs I wrote that almost made the fearless album. Songs I absolutely adored, but were held back for different reasons (don't want too many breakup songs, don't want too many down tempo songs, can't fit that many songs on a physical cd)."

For Swift, the aforementioned reasons were unnecessary. She wanted her fans to see the whole story and the entire vivid picture behind her albums that's why she will include six new songs in her new version of "Fearless." She wrote those tracks when she was between 16 and 18.

"These were the ones it killed me to leave behind," she continued.

The process was fulfilling and emotional for the "You Belong With Me" songstress more than she imagined. However, she was determined to re-record all of her music and hoped that her fans would love them as much as she loved traveling back in time to recreate them.

In November, Swift broke her silence after Scooter Braun sold the master rights to her first six albums to a mystery buyer. Swift's team wanted to regain ownership of the master recording, but she was asked to sign an ironclad NDA stating that she would never say any word about Braun unless it's positive. Her legal team advised her against doing it.

"My legal team said that this is absolutely NOT normal, and they've never seen an NDA like this presented unless it was to silence an assault accuser by paying them off. He would never even quote my team a price. These master recordings were not for sale to me," Swift said.
