A woman who claims to be a former schoolmate of Taylor Swift has spoken out about how the people in their former school perceived the singer. In a TikTok video captioned "Everything Ms. Swift does is intentional," Jessica McLane revealed that "jealousy was definitely a thing" at school where Swift's peers hated her.

McLane said she was a freshman in 2006 at Hendersonville High School in Tennessee when Swift, then a junior, released "Teardrops on My Guitar" and shot to fame. "Obviously, she got really big and that's the year that she left school and got homeschooled," she said.

The TikTok user explained that people began disliking Swift when she started to become "super successful," and that they were not just random people, but Swift's own peers.

"She was literally 16, 17, leaving high school to pursue a career that people were telling her that she could never have," McLane said in the video.

"Also, the guys she was writing these songs about, they were still in school. They were still there. And now they have a hit song about them talking about what a s***** boyfriend they are," she added.

McLane recalled many spread rumors about the "All Too Well" singer and how she got her big break in the music industry, NYPost reported.

"But the fact remains that there were not a lot of people in high school who had nice things to say about her," she continued.

When a TikTok user challenged her to provide proof to back her claims, McLane posted a video of her 2006-2007 yearbook from Hendersonville High School. She said Swift was not in the yearbook because she dropped out of school before picture day to be homeschooled.

However, McLane did find the singer photographed in one of the collages and shared it on TikTok.

McLane went on to reveal that in 2009, when she was already a senior, Swift invited their entire class to the Country Music Association Awards (CMAs). While she was excited at the invitation, McLane said she found it "very random," as most of them didn't know Swift personally and wondered why she wanted them at the prestigious event.

At the CMAs, Swift became the youngest artist to win the Entertainer of the Year Award at 19, and bagged three more awards for her hit songs "Love Story" and "Fearless." McLane said she realized how this was Swift's way of getting back at those who did her wrong and that she plans her revenge years in advance.

"Y'all, she invited us to the CMAs to say f**k you," McLane said, concluding, "And we deserved it. So to Taylor, touche, that was a good one."

Several US election candidates had the same idea when they attempted to win cool points by capitalizing off the release of Taylor Swift's new album 'Midnights'
