A teen in Russia killed his parents and sister because he did not "want to attend school." The boy then disfigured his father's face and dressed the corpse in his own clothes to confuse the cops.

The mutilated body of the teen's father, identified as 40-year-old father Alexey Gorbunov, was found in their home in Oktyabrsky, a town in the Perm region, earlier this week. The man's face was "strongly disfigured."

Police said after disfiguring the man's face, the 17-year-old accused dressed the body in his clothes. This led to the investigators believing that the father was the killer and the body was of the teenager.

Investigators also issued a wanted notice for the father. However, forensic experts soon established that the body was that of the father. The bodies of the teen's mother and 12-year-old sister were also found in the same home.

Following a search, the teen, identified as Vadim Gorbunov, was found 225 miles from the crime scene and was detained, El Siglo reported.

During interrogation, he confessed to the crime and said he axed his parents and sister to death after his mother insisted on him going to school. He said he first killed his parents and then his sister.

"At around 5 p.m., I committed an attack on my own mother. Later, around 5:30 or 6 p.m., I committed the second murder. Also because I was traumatized. Later, between 6 and 7 p.m., the murder of my sister, aged 12, was committed," he told the investigators.

Investigation revealed that the boy, who was a good student, recently swapped classes as he was not happy with the quality of math teaching.

The incident comes months after a teen in Mexico stabbed several family members at a party, killing two children. Mario first stabbed his 14-year-old cousin Eduardo before turning to 7-year-old Nicolás and stabbing him multiple times. He then stabbed his 10-year-old cousin who witnessed the incident. Mario also attacked another family member when tried to disarm him. Eduardo and Nicolás died during treatment at the hospital.
