“Teen Wolf” Season 5 might not kill every chimera – at least Theo (Cody Christian) hopes not. The double agent is angry about the Dread Doctors going after Hayden (Victoria Moroles) in episode 9, titled “Lies of Omission.” In a sneak-peek video, Theo explains that she is vital to his plan, but the villains don’t really care about what Theo needs.

In the clip, Theo asks for more time, but the Doctors seem to speak in riddles while injecting themselves with a serum. “Perigee syzygy. This moon. We'll know at perigee syzygy,” they say. (At least that's what it sounds like. The Dread Doctors could really benefit from captions.)

Perigee syzygy is the scientific word for supermoon, when a full or new moon appears much larger than usual. It isn’t clear exactly what that has to do with their plans, but Theo quickly moves on.

The werewolf asks about Hayden, and the Dread Doctors confirm what the viewers already know: the experiments didn’t work. At the end of episode 8, she was no longer healing. The Doctors typically kill their failed experiments.

“Failure compromises the experiment pool,” the Doctors explain.

“I kept Scott out of your way,” Theo reasons. “I did everything you wanted. Now, I need Hayden alive.”

Of course, the Doctors don’t really think that’s their problem. However, they may have made some agreements with Theo that they don’t plan to honor. “You promised me a pack,” Theo says.

“We promised you nothing,” the Doctors claim.

“I need Hayden alive!” Theo yells.
