The latest set of "Tokyo Revengers" 244 raw scans are now available, and they reveal the highly anticipated face-off between Takemichi and Mikey or the Kantou Manj gang and the second-generation Tokyo Manji gang while seemingly highlighting the Shinjuku train station, which could be hinting at the war's finale.
The latest set of raw scans for the upcoming manga installment of Ken Wakui's creation is courtesy of industry insider taiyakiboi02. Based on the scans, which are available below, friends will fight against each other and the battle is set to happen at Old Cargo Bay.
The scans reveal a couple of panels, one showing the side-by-side faces of Mikey and Takemichi, while the other shows the Kantou Manji and the Tokyo Manji seemingly charging at each other with the train tracks in the background.
Apparently, Old Cargo Bay is the Shinjuku train station, where Takemichi was supposedly killed but was saved by Hina's brother Naoto. It was also during that time when Takemichi discovered that he has the ability to time travel.
Some fans believe the ultimate battle between Mikey and Takemichi will be resolved at the Shinjuku train station, where it all began.
The raw scans also revealed that the second generation of the Tokyo Manji has come to fight to destroy the Kantou Manji and reclaim their gang's name.
Takemichi now calls Mikey Sano Manjiro instead of Mikey-kun. Perhaps, he has finally learned how to separate the old Mikey from the one he is about to fight.
The insider also mentioned on his other account that "Tokyo Revengers" 244 will feature a bonus page showcasing the organizational chart of Mikey's Kantou Manji gang.
In terms of strength and fighting ability, Takemichi is no match to Mikey. All this time, fans know that when the fated day comes, Mikey will just beat him up.
What will happen to this mega-fight is still anyone's guess, but Ken Wakui has this penchant for creating a bittersweet resolution, so fans should be ready for an unexpected twist.
"Tokyo Revengers" 244 is set to officially release on Wednesday while other raw scans could surface online between Sunday and Tuesday.
