The top after-market NASDAQ stock market gainers are: CyberDefender, Lattice Semiconductor, Enzon Pharmaceuticals, Cogo Group, Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, LJ International, Nordson, Herman Miller, Sangamo Biosciences, and Motricity.

CyberDefender Corp. (CYDE) surged 12.59 percent to $3.04 in the after-market trading.

Lattice Semiconductor Corp. (LSCC) soared 11.55 percent to $5.70 in the after-hours session.

Enzon Pharmaceuticals Inc. (ENZN) jumped 7.11 percent to $12.50 in the after-market trading. The company announced the initiation of Phase I clinical studies, in collaboration with the National Cancer Institute, for two of its novel oncology product candidates, EZN-2968 and EZN-2208.

The company said both EZN-2968 and EZN-2208 have been shown to down-modulate HIF-1a, a subunit of HIF-1. HIF-1 is frequently over-expressed in cancer cells, where it is involved in the up-regulation of gene products essential for tumor invasion, migration, angiogenesis and production of vascular endothelial growth factor.

Cogo Group, Inc. (COGO) improved 5.83 percent to $8.35 in the after-hours session. The company said in a regulatory filing that its units Comtech International (Hong Kong) Ltd. and Comtech Broadband Ltd. entered into credit amount contracts with the Macau Branch of Guangdong Development Bank for the purpose of providing short-term trade operation working capital with the maximum loans amount of $20 million and $10 million.

Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. (KTOS) climbed 4.91 percent to $11.75 in the after-market trading.

LJ International Inc. (JADE) grew 4.82 percent to $3.70 in the after-hours session.

Nordson Corp. (NDSN) gained 4.39 percent to $91 in the after-market trading. The company's fourth quarter profit was $53.5 million or $1.56 a share, compared to a loss of $209.0 million or $6.22 a share last year. Adjusted earnings was $1.50 a share, up from $0.90 a share last year. Sales rose 22 percent to $290 million. Analysts had expected profit of $1.37 a share on revenue of $292.31 million.

Nordson expects first quarter earnings of $1.03 to $1.13 a share and sales of $260 million to $268 million. Street projects profit of $0.94 a share on revenue of $251.89 million.

Herman Miller Inc. (MLHR) increased 3.33 percent to $23.91 in the after-hours session. The company's second quarter profit was $17.9 million or 26 cents a share, up from $9.6 million or 17 cents a share last year. Adjusted earnings was 29 cents a share, up from 20 cents a share. Sales rose 19.9 percent to $412.2 million. Analysts had expected profit of 28 cents a share on revenue of $391.17 million.

Sangamo Biosciences Inc. (SGMO) rose 2.96 percent to $5.67 in the after-market trading.

Motricity, Inc. (MOTR) moved up 2.89 percent to $18.89 in the after-hours session.
