  • Melania announced she is rolling out a line of Christmas ornaments and animated NFTs
  • She is selling the 'Christmas Star' bauble exclusively on her website
  • She also released a separate ornament collection to be sold through USA Memorabilia

Former President Donald Trump on Thursday posted a rare flirty comment about his wife Melania Trump while promoting her Christmas ornaments on Truth Social.

Trump made the comment when he "reTruthed" a post by Melania who this week announced she is rolling out a line of Christmas ornaments and animated Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) to celebrate the season.

"Really beautiful (the ornaments, I mean!)," Trump wrote.

The former first lady's new line of Christmas ornaments will feature "The Christmas Star." It is a golden star-shaped ornament that would be sold for $45 and would only be available for purchase on her website, MelaniaTrump.com. Every purchase of the ornament would also come with an engraving of Melania's signature as well as a corresponding NFT.

"My creative inspiration for the upcoming holiday season is hope, and naturally, the Star embodies this spirit. My hope is for families across the world to use The Christmas Star ornament to inspire their loved ones with positive purpose, aspirations, and values as we enter the new year," Melania wrote on her website. "This holiday season, remember to aim high to reach your full potential."

The "Christmas Star" ornament first became available for pre-order Thursday. All ornaments purchased before Oct. 2 will be delivered before Dec. 25.

Melania also announced a separate line of six ornaments as part of "The American Christmas Collection." The Christmas baubles will be sold through the company USA Memorabilia, a website powered by Parler, a social media platform favored by right-wing politicians and influencers. The baubles cost $35 a piece and would also come with a corresponding NFT.

"The American Christmas Collection celebrates our great Nation. The six limited edition Christmas ornaments with corresponding NFTs are inspired by the American experience and spirit. The brass and enamel ornaments represent the traditional American Christmas, and former First Lady Melania Trump's signature is included on each ornament. Each ornament is proudly handcrafted in the United States," the ornament's description read.

A portion of the proceeds from the Christmas ornaments will be given to "Fostering the Future," a "Be Best" initiative. The program aims to secure education opportunities and scholarships for children in the foster care system, according to Fox News.
