The growing list of people who have walked down the same, now-familiar path to the golden Trump Tower elevators on their way up to meet with Donald Trump can now include Kanye West. The all-world pop star visited with the president-elect to discuss — what else? — a role in Trump's presidential administration.

The appearances of many who have paraded down the well-trodden Trump Tower path were mostly expected, but others, such as West, largely caught the hordes of media members there off guard. Because of the great interest in who Trump has been considering and ultimately appoints to advisory roles and cabinet positions, C-SPAN has set up its own official live stream from the Trump Tower lobby to make sure not a moment is missed.

From foreign dignitaries and investors to establishment politicians jockeying for a position in Trump's cabinet, each person's footsteps from the moment they enter the midtown Manhattan skyscraper to the instant they step in and then vanish behind the gleaming elevator doors are seemingly documented with an omnipresent video camera.

The Washington Post suggested the 24-7 live stream of Trump Tower's elevator banks was a fitting treatment for the president-elect who has also made a career in reality television.

While there have been individuals meeting with Trump at the Tower in an official government capacity, there have also been several moments of levity, including when the so-called Naked Cowboy rode up in the elevator with North Dakota Sen. Heidi Heitkamp.

C-SPAN's live stream from Trump Tower is "to let our audience see who is coming and going to meet with the Trump transition team, and watch them speak to the media located in the lobby," the cable network's Director of Communications Howard Mortman told the Verge.
