A latest report tried to suggest actress Angelina Jolie’s physical fitness was failing due to stress from her ongoing divorce and custody battle with estranged husband Brad Pitt — a rumor that has already been proven false in the past.

The rumor that Jolie was anorexic and fast losing weight due to stress was rehashed by Hollywood Life, in an article published Thursday titled, “Is Angelina Jolie’s ‘76 Lb.’ Body Putting Her Life At Risk? Why She Needs To Put On Weight,” after a similar bogus report came out in Star, a magazine known to spread baseless rumor, a few days ago.

Hollywood Life picked up where Star magazine left off, starting their article with the claim that the “Maleficent” actress weighed 76 pounds and moved on to provide “advice” on why that particular weight mark – which itself was a rumor – put Jolie at an increased health risk. The publication even brought on a nutrition expert for lending credibility to the rumor.

“Looks can be deceiving, but my concerns are raised when someone has little to zero body fat for extended periods of time, especially if they’re not a serious athlete,” Caroline Craven, a nutritionist at theGirlwithMS.com told Hollywood Life. “Bodies need calories to function best and if they don’t receive them, then they are forced to feed off of reserves. Bodies need a reserve in the case something goes wrong such as an unexpected illness. Unfortunately, Hollywood tends to like skin and bones.”

“The advice I would give is to build some cushion,” Craven added. “Don’t worry about what size you wear or what you think you look like. It truly is what’s inside that counts.”

Then, Craven went on to calculate Jolie’s BMI (Body Mass Index) and ended up not specifying any ideal the body weight for the actress, choosing to keep her answer vague and ominous.

“As far as what would be a healthy weight for Angelina’s height at 5’7”, I’m not a fan of using numbers with weight,” she said. “Everyone is built differently. It’s how one feels. I would ask her if she has the energy to live the life she wants. And is she reducing modifiable risk factors that could cause illness and death?”

Taking her guesswork further, Craven concluded stress could be the reason Jolie’s body had entered the “flight or fight mode.”

“They could be eating, but these calories are not absorbed properly and the person most likely will suffer from fatigue and other issues. People, when stressed, can change the way they eat, not just the foods they eat. They tend to eat fast, chew less, and gulp air along the way,” she said.

While most of the statements made by the nutritionist might be generally true, it is important to remember she was brought in to specifically comment on Jolie’s supposedly deteriorating health — a rumor which was already debunked by Gossip Cop as soon as the Star magazine report came out.

At the time, a source close to Jolie rubbished the rumor, telling Gossip Cop all the reports suggesting the actress starving herself due to stress was “a bizarre story that keeps popping up” and was completely “untrue.”

In fact, Jolie was spotted getting lunch with her kids at Perch on Sunday in Los Angeles, before continuing with their shopping spree. She was also photographed earlier this month exiting Whole Foods with cart full of groceries with her kids. All of these instances proved the actress had enough energy to fulfill her co-parenting duties, suggesting that there were no issues with her health.
