The Truth About Jennifer Aniston, Adam Sandler’s Relationship After Justin Theroux Split

Despite a new report claiming Jennifer Aniston is using Adam Sandler to get a reaction out of Justin Theroux, the “Friends” alum has only teamed up with her “Just Go With It” co-star to film the upcoming Netflix film “Murder Mystery.”

After announcing her separation from “The Leftovers” actor earlier this year, Aniston has been focused on her career and happiness. However, a story published in Woman’s Day suggests the 49-year-old is working with Sandler to make Theroux envious of her success following their split.

The article initially questions whether Aniston and Sandler are more than friends by referencing a photo of the two holding hands while shooting a scene. Even though it is later revealed that Sandler is married with children, the outlet claims the images are “sure to rile Theroux,” who is struggling to land a leading television role.

However, a rep for Aniston told Gossip Cop the story is “completely absurd.” The fact-checking site also noted Woman’s Day incorrectly claimed the actress would be “reinstated as the queen of TV” even though Netflix is a streaming service and Aniston isn’t currently filming any shows for the traditional television format.

The “Murder Mystery” movie follows a New York cop, played by Sandler, who takes his wife, portrayed by Aniston, on a trip to Europe. During their highly anticipated vacation, the couple becomes the main suspects in a billionaire’s murder case.

Next up, Aniston is expected to film another movie titled, “First Ladies.” Meanwhile, Theroux is expected to appear in one of Netflix’s upcoming series, “Maniac.”

The actress has been reportedly dividing her time between work and exploring Europe when she isn’t needed on set. A reliable source recently told People Aniston has been “having a great summer” overseas.

Those close to the actress insist dating isn’t on her radar and neither is Theroux. “She doesn’t even talk about him anymore,” an insider shared.

“She doesn’t keep up with what he does. She is focusing on her own life,” the source added.

Between work, red carpets and touring other countries, Aniston hasn’t dedicated a moment of her time to getting payback against Theroux.
