The “Twilight Zone” reboot has added another cast member. Steven Yeun, best known for playing Glenn in “The Walking Dead” series, has joined the show. The actor is said to be appearing in only one episode.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the episode which Yeun will be starring in is titled “The Traveler.” Details about the character are currently being kept under wraps.

Yeun has been getting high praise for his performance in the South Korean movie, “Burning.” He has also done some voice acting for projects like “Voltron” and “Trollhunters: Tales of Arcadia.” His role in “The Walking Dead” series ended in Season 7.

According to TV Line, the “Twilight Zone” reboot has already attracted some talented actors. Adam Scott has joined the show, and he will be seen in the remake of the episode “Nightmare at 20,000 Feet.” Other cast members include John Cho, Kumail Nanjiani, Sanaa Lathan, Jacob Tremblay and Allison Tolman.

Riz Ahmed and Tremblay are expected to appear in the third episode. The episode, titled “Kid President,” will see Tremblay playing the lead character and Ahmed as the campaign manager.

Just like the previous “Twilight Zone” series, each episode in the reboot will be focused on one standalone story. And the stars in one episode may not be seen in any of the other episodes.

According to Screen Rant, Ahmed has been offered a role in the show. His casting is yet to be confirmed.

Jordan Peele will be the executive producer and the host of “The Twilight Zone” reboot. Production has reportedly begun already. Ten episodes have been planned for the first season.

The previous “Twilight Zone” series aired on CBS from 1959 to 1964. Rod Serling was the host at the time. The stories of the show were of the horror and sci-fi genre. The show went on to become a huge hit.

A reboot of the classic series has been tried before. There have been two films and two other TV shows based on the franchise. The first TV series aired in the 1980s and the second aired in 2000s. It remains to be seen just how successful the new reboot will be.

The “Twilight Zone” reboot will air on CBS All Access in 2019. The producers are yet to announce an exact release date. More details may be available after the filming wraps.
