Fans of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End will have more content to look forward to, but don’t expect a new title in the PlayStation 4 series soon.

In an interview with Game Informer focusing on the upcoming downloadable chapter Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, Naughty Dog co-president Evan Wells said the developer wants to shift its focus towards other series at the moment.

“I would say that Naughty Dog doing an Uncharted after this is unlikely,” Wells told Game Informer. “I would never say never, but we've got The Last of Us: Part II on our plates and there's so much other stuff that [we want to explore]. It'd be hard. If we magically had that two-team, three-team studio, sure – it'd be great to keep doing it. We really love the franchise, but the studio has limited resources and lots of other ideas. I'd say the likelihood is low.”

Elsewhere in the feature, Naughty Dog teased several features to expect from the standalone DLC. The new chapter takes place six months after Uncharted 4 and focuses on Nadine Ross and Chloe Frazer, who travel to India in search of the Tusk of Ganesh. Check out a trailer for the game below:

The game will be anchored around the developing partnership between Ross and Frazer, who learn how to work alongside each other as you progress. As IGN also notes, Naughty Dog also looked into developing new chapters around characters like Sully and Cassie, but decided to focus on Chloe and Nadine and explore both side characters further.
