‘United We Fall’ Premiere, Here’s How You Know The Cast

The summer comedies continue to debut with the newest entry to ABC’s summer lineup-- "United We Fall.”

The series, which airs beginning at 8 p.m., deals with the hilarious trials and tribulations of large extended families, and may help fill the void for fans who are already missing ABC”s prolific long-running comedy series “Modern Family.”

“The profoundly realistic family sitcom follows the trials and tribulations of Jo and Bill, parents of two young kids, as they try to make it day to day as a functioning family,” a synopsis for the show reads. “Bill’s very judgmental live-in mother and Jo’s large Latinx Catholic family will never hesitate to let our couple know they’re seemingly screwing up, but Bill and Jo will always have each other’s backs, united against everyone—other parents, teachers, doctors, specialists, coaches, co-workers and especially their kids.”

So who will be starring in this new sitcom? Get to know the cast below.

Olivia Taylor Cohen

Cohen stars as Marta on the show and is likely best known for her previous roles as Caroline Dillon on an episode of “Schooled,” and as Vanessa in the 2016 TV Movie “Dream Team.”

Jane Curtin

Curtin portrays Sandy Ryan on the new sitcom, She is most easily recognized for her role as Dr. Mary Albright on “3rd Rock From the Sun,” but may also be known for roles such as Joann Webster on “Unforgettable,” Charlene on “The Librarians,” and Carol in “The Sy Who Dumped Me.”

Guillermo Diaz

Diaz, who stars as Chuy Rodriguez, previously portrayed Huck on “Scandal,” Guillermo on “Weeds,” and Nurse Angel Garcia on “Mercy.”

Will Sasso

Sasso stars as Bill. Fans likely recognize him from any number of projects, but some of his notable roles were Andy on “Mom,” Ben on “Loudermilk,” Yanis on “Shameless,” Curly in “The Three Stooges,” Carl Montari on “Less Than Perfect,” Balthazor Hellman on “Neighbors From Hell,” Vince Goodson on “$#*! My Dad Says,” Doug Martin on “How I Met Your Mother” and Tommy Margaretti on “Murder Police.”

Christina Vidal

Vidal, who stars as Jo, might be recognizable for a slew of different roles. Some of her most notable ones include Detective Ayala on “Grand Hotel,” Valerie on “Sneaky Pete,” Det. Valerie Chavez on “Training Day,” Gina Perello on “Code Black” and Deputy Gabriela Lopez on “10-8: Officers on Duty.” She may also be easily recognized from her role as Maddie in “Freaky Friday” or as Taina Maria Morales on the short-lived “Taina.”

“United We Fall” airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. EDT on ABC.
