“Vampire Diaries” actress Scarlett Byrne has Hugh Hefner’s son, Cooper Hefner, compelled! After two years of dating, the young Hollywood couple is now engaged.

Byrne, 24, and Hefner, 23, announced the exciting news on their Twitter accounts. “To many more adventures with this lovely lady @Scarleybyrne,” he shared with his followers. The image that accompanied the post showed off Byrne’s stunning new engagement ring, which features a large yellow diamond surrounded by two outer layers of smaller white diamonds.

Byrne shared her own sweet message and photo with her followers. “I was lucky enough to fall in love with my best friend,” she captioned an image of her and Hefner lying together in bed.

According to Us Weekly, Hefner popped the question to his lady love in London after asking permission from her father. Afterwards the two families celebrated at the Ritz hotel.

Hugh Hefner took to twitter to share his warm wishes with the happy couple.

Cooper Hefner is the son of Hugh Hefner and his second wife, Kimberley Conrad. Cooper is currently a film producer, although his father has previously said that he’d like him to take over as the “public face” of Playboy.

Byrne recently joined the cast of “The Vampire Diaries” as Nora, a half vampire, half witch in Lillian Salvatore’s army of Heretics. Prior to the CW show, Byrne played Pansy Parkinson in the “Harry Potter” movies, and Lexi on the TNT drama “Falling Skies.”
