A bridge in northeast Taiwan collapsed Tuesday morning, causing an oil tanker truck to crash onto fishing boats and injuring at least 12 people, according to local reports. The terrifying scene was caught on video.

The collapse occurred around 9:30 a.m. local time in the coastal fishing village of Nanfangao. A burning oil tanker truck was in the middle of the bridge when it collapsed, dropping it to the water below. The tanker and rubble from the bridge collapsed onto fishing boats passing underneath, sending them into the water below.

While a possible cause wasn’t given by relief officials, Nanfangao was hit by a typhoon hours before.

Security cameras at one of the surrounding piers caught the collapse on video, which quickly made its way online.

Relief efforts were immediately underway as local law enforcement, rescue teams, and military all descended on the town. Ten people were initially rushed to local hospitals for treatment, with six suffering from allegedly serious injuries.

Interior Minister Hsu Kuo-yung reported at least five people were believed to be crossing the bridge when it collapsed, while another six were believed to be trapped on one of the boats below. Taiwan President Tsai Ing-wen also told Taiwan’s Central News Agency all agencies involved were working to “keep the number of deaths and injuries as low as possible.”
