War is coming to Kattegat again in “Vikings” Season 5, episode 19. A preview video of the next episode shows Ivar the Boneless (Alex Høgh Andersen) preparing for an invasion. Three armies are expected to collaborate to bring the mad king down, but there will be a lot of infighting among them that will play out in the next episode.

A preview video of the next episode posted on Facebook shows Bjorn (Alexander Ludwig) and King Harald (Peter Franzén) on the march with an army. The only problem is that there has been some tension between them ever since Bjorn took Gunnhild (Ragga Ragnars) as his woman. That tension will lead to an open conflict between the two in the next episode.

Bjorn and Harald are both strong warriors, and the conflict in the next episode will be about who is the real leader of the army they are leading. The preview video shows King Harald threatening to make a deal with Ivar. The threat and the underlying tension about Gunnhild will lead to the two warriors drawing swords to resolve the conflict through blood.

Meanwhile, there’s another army on the march against Ivar. Hvitserk (Stephen Rockett) managed to convince Ivar’s ally to turn against the king of Kattegat. King Olaf the Stout (Steven Berkoff) will have his doubts about the war even as they march towards Kattegat.

Ubbe (Jordan Patrick Smith) will be fighting his own battles in the next episode of “Vikings” Season 5 to bring peace to Wessex. Things don’t seem to go well for him in the fight. If he manages to win the duel, there will be another army that may be willing to support King Alfred (Ferdia Walsh-Peelo) in his fight against Ivar.

Ivar, on the other hand, is confident that he will defeat his enemies. The preview video shows him giving an inspiring speech to his people to prepare them for war. However, he too will be facing problems. He killed his newborn son in the previous episode, and now, he will confront his wife, suspecting the child’s father to be someone else.

What is missing in the preview video is Floki’s (Gustaf Skarsgård) storyline. A scene from the previous episode posted on Facebook shows the new direction the character has taken. After growing tired of people, he went in search of the gods. It remains to be seen what he will find in the newly discovered cave.

Lagertha’s (Katheryn Winnick) journey in “Vikings” Season 5 has also been an interesting one. A picture of the character posted on Instagram by Winnick shows just how much the character has changed in just a few months.

“Vikings” Season 5 airs on Wednesdays at 9 p.m. EST on the History Channel.
